Compliance Assistance

Helping you and your company effectively meet regulatory requirements for occupational health and safety.

Effectively Adhere to Regulatory Occupational Health & Safety Requirements

The Safety Nation Canada is here to help you and your company efficiently comply with regulatory orders related to occupational health and safety. Our team will support you in implementing corrective actions to achieve compliance and ensure your workers return to work safely.

Provincial and Territorial regulation prevention officers enforce the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation to ensure workplaces like yours remain compliant. During an inspection, an officer may request a tour of your worksite and review relevant documents. If your workplace does not meet regulatory standards and policies, they may issue:

  • Stop work orders - An immediate halt of production, equipment, machinery, or processes until the employer rectifies the violation and demonstrates compliance with the relevant regulations. In some cases, all work may be suspended, and the workplace cleared of workers until hazards are fully addressed.
  • Compliance orders - Prevention officers issue reports and may cite orders if they identify health and safety violations that require correction. Typically, Provincial and Territorial regulation allows employers 30 days to comply with these orders.
